Job Summary
Responsible for producing consolidated financial statements and accessory reports for the company code(s) assigned.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage team of Senior Staff Accountants and Staff Accountants to produce consolidated financial statements and/or accessory reports for the entire company
- Provide accounting regulation guidance and support to plant and Corporate personnel
- Define procedures and policies to ensure financial reporting is in compliance with US GAAP
- Work with IT department to ensure that our general ledger systems are configured in a manner to allow compliance with US GAAP reporting requirements
- May manage lower level professional accountants or clerks through subordinate supervisor, if applicable
- Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management
- Assure that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant
- Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately
- Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor
- Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy
- Manage the preparation and review of all equity compensation related calculations for compliance with US GAAP
- Manage the relationship with third-party vendors used in connection with the administration and reporting of the equity compensation program
- Maintain the data integrity of all relevant information associated with the equity compensation program
- Manage the preparation and review of all equity related activities (i.e. granting, vesting, cancellation and forfeiture) associated with the Company's administration of the equity compensation program
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management
- Plus 2 - 3 years experience in a relevant Jabil financial position. With at least 2 years experience in a supervisory or management role within an accounting department
- CPA Certificate or advanced degree is preferred
- Ability to travel
- Or a combination of education, experience and/or training


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
