Production Support Specialist

Phillips-Medisize LLC is seeking a Production Support Specialist on first shift to train Operators and assist in production operations.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Production reporting via documentation and in manufacturing system
  • Operate at injection-molding machines and perform related duties, which include molding, material handling, trimming, secondary operations, and inspection of parts as molded and Proper use of scales, weigh parts for accurate counts
  • Assist team with identifying/verifying proper tagging/labeling and documentation of inventory throughout the facility
  • Print and verify labels prior to issuing them to production floor
  • Assist training operators and monitor for compliance to instructions
  • Moving parts to next production step
  • Accurately perform line reconciliation
  • Complete production line 5S and Cleanliness Audits/Walkthroughs and correct non-compliances
  • Successfully complete inventory physical counts and reject reporting
  • Assist root cause investigations for customer part quality issues
  • Identify and lead any CDPE or other 5S type effort on production floor

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities include:
  • Minimum 3 years of production/lead/trainer experience
  • Knowledge of plastics manufacturing systems and procedures or medical device manufacturing
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Ability to organize and effectively accomplish tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail for accurate documentation
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of lot codes and First-In/First-Out inventory

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
